On 3rd October, at the People’s Palace in Malabo, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received a delegation from the United Nations Organisation for Education Science and Culture (UNESCO), led by its representative in Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Angola, Burundi, Central Africa, Chad, and SAPound o Tome and Principe, Salah Khaled.
During the audience, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the delegates spoke about matters related to the Afro-American University of Djibloho, which since the present academic year 2018/2019 is in operation. l
They also spoke about how to turn this university into an emblematic institution for young people not only from our country, but from the entire African continent, in addition to the way of creating ties with universities throughout the world.
In a statement to the press, Salah Khaled mentioned the industrialisation of cultural creativity, and values cultural heritage, together with actions that UNESCO wishes to take in our Nation.
The audience, which took place following a tour of the university facilities by the delegation, comes within the framework of the agreement signed between UNESCO and the Government.
