President receives new French Ambassador

On Monday 4th November, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to the Accredited Plenipotentiary Extraordinary Ambassador to our country from the French Republic, Olivier Brochenin.

At the meeting, the two covered the diplomatic relations uniting Malabo and Paris, and the participation of an Equatoguinean delegation led by the leader of the nation at the upcoming international summits which are to be organised by the French Government.

According to Olivier Brochenin, it was an official invitation including bilateral meetings between the two Heads of State, Their Excellencies Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono and the adviser from the French diplomatic mission, was the first audience granted to Olivier Brochenin by the President of the Republic, following the presentation of his credentials as Ambassador on 17th October.
