President receives Special Envoy from Guinea Bissau

On Monday 28th January, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received in audience Franklin Rosette Lopes Rodrigues, special envoy from the President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, who was the bearer of a written message that H. E. Jose Mario Vaz had sent to his counterpart in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The content of the message was not revealed, but it is thought to be related to the recent cooperation established between the Governments of Malabo and Bissau.

According to words from the envoy of H. E. Jose Mario Vaz, he also presented to the Head of State confirmation that his Government would work on certain aspects covered in the cooperation agreements regarding various sectors signed during the official visit made by the President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau and his delegation to the city of Mongomo on 6th December 2018.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono, accompanied the leader of the nation during the meeting.
