The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is continuing with its role of advisor for peace and political stability on the African continent in general, and the subregion of the Community of Central African States (CEAC) in particular. For that reason, its President, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, receives visits from delegations from many countries that request this support.
On Monday 17th April it was an entourage from the Democratic Republic of the Congo that went to the office of the Head of State, led by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Relations and Regional Integration, Leonard She Okitundu.
The Kinshasa envoy brought a verbal message from H. E. Joseph Kabila Kabangue for his counterpart, S. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the contents of which were passed on in the presence of the chancellor of Equatoguinean diplomacy, Agapito Mba Mokuy.
The delegation from this CEAC member country was made up of various presidential advisers, together with their accredited ambassador in Ethiopia.
The Congolese politician praised, in the name of his Government and the delegation he was leading, the support and the willingness of the leader of Equatorial Guinea to work for the political stability of his country.
The entourage is going to continue its journey from Malabo to Luanda (Angola), Conakry (Guinea) and Yamena (Chad), where there will be meetings with leaders from those nations, in order to request support, and put an end to the current political crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
