After attending the work of the 33rd Extraordinary Conference of Heads of State and Government in the city of Niamey, capital of Republic of Niger, the Equatoguinean delegation led by the Head of State, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, returned to Malabo on 7th July.
In conversation with the press minutes after his arrival, the President underlined the fact that the Extraordinary Summit in Niamey focussed on the African free trade area, which the majority of countries on the continent ratified.
Africa is suffering an invasion of products from nations outside the continent, while national products are stagnant, In fact, the African area has been opened so that products from within the area will have a place on the continent itself, in other words, what each nation produces will be able to be sold in other nations in the African region”, declared H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in response to questions from the press on the advantages of free trade.
