The President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, visited the International African Textile Salon (SITA), which is being held from 24th to 26th January in the National Park in Malabo.
Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama, the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Craft Promotion, and the President of the national Events Committee, Pedro Ela Nguema Buna, received the presidential couple. A total of seventeen countries are taking part in the fair.
The President and the First Lady visited the stalls at the fair, and looked at the articles and textiles on display. They were also presented with gifts of textiles and craft products from the respective nations.
Following the visit, the presidential couple were photographed with some of those taking part at the fair.
