Presidential trip to Ethiopia

Tthe President of the Republic, H.E ObiangNguemaMbasogo and the First Lady, ConstanciaMangue de Obiang, travelled to Ethiopia, the headquarters of the African Union, to take part in the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Convention on Aid and Protection for Refugees and the Internally Displaced in Africa, adopted by the Organisationfro African Unity (OAU) in 1968.

The President of the Republic and leader of the theme of the Year on Refugees and Displaced Persons in Africa, H. E. ObiangNguemaMbasogo and his wife, were accompanied by members of the Government, such as the Minister of State to the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Missions, Alejandro EvunaOwonoAsangono, and the Foreign Minister, SimeonOyonoEsono, among others.

At the farewell ceremony at the airport were the heads of the departments of Defence and State Security, and advisers to the Head of State’s Office.
