Presidential trip to Turkey

On 17th August, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, travelled to Turkey leading a delegation made up of members of the Government and the PDGE National Office, in addition to advisers to the Head of State’s Office.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo was seen off at the presidential terminal at Malabo International Airport by members of the Government, specifically the ministers for National Defence and State Security, in addition to Advisers to the Head of State’s Office.

The leader of the Nation, together with his entourage, is travelling to Turkey at the invitation of his counterpart, H. E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to attend the VI Ordinary Congress of the Justice and Development Party, to be held on 18th August.

Thirty-eight days after being in Ankara for the investiture ceremony of the Turkish President, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo is returning to the country, within the framework of relations of brotherhood and friendship maintained with the governing Justice and Development Party.
