A total of four heads of State arrived on 16th May in Malabo, to attend the Summit of the Committee of Ten. The Equatoguinean Head of State went to the airport to welcome them.
They were the presidents of Sierra Leone, H. E. Ernest Bai Koroma; Zambia, S. E. Eres Chagwa Lungu; Congo Brazzaville, H. E. Denis Sassou Ngueso, who were received with high honours by the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The last to arrive at Malabo International Airport was the President of Namibia, H. E. Hage Aigob, who was also received with the same honours by the Head of State.
The welcome, the presentation of bouquets, the playing of the national anthems and a review of the land, sea and air forces marked the arrivals, which were also attended by presidents of constitutional bodies, and members of the Government and accredited diplomatic corps in our country.
The aim of the C-10 Summit is to carry out the relevant work so that Africa can obtain a post of responsibility of the United Nations Security Council.
