Press conference by Minister for Information on continuation of Interministerial Council

The Minister for Information, Press and Radio, and Government Minister Spokesperson, Eugenio Nze Obiang, gave a press conference in 11th February, to report on the session which continued the Interministerial Council meeting held on 6th February.

The Minister for Information, Press and Radio, Eugenio Nze Obiang, gave a press conference to report on everything that was covered in the continuation of the Interministerial Council meeting held on 6th February, from which some points were pending from the agenda.

The council session was overseen by the Prime Minister of the Government, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, and was also attended by the three Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, ministers of State, deputy ministers, vice-ministers and secretaries of State.

As usual, the session began with the adoption of the agenda, by the Minutes Secretary, and then the commissions charged with studying the Draft laws on Corruption and Gender Violence, respectively, presented to those at the meeting the matters, which were then the focus of analysis and debate.

The Minister for Information also referred to the proposal by Anatolio Nzang Nguema, State Attorney General, which suggested to the Executive that they adopt legal instruments to prevent the escalation of delinquency and drug addiction in young people, many of which are minors.
