Prime Minister attends homage to Herminio Edu Abeso Nkara

On Friday 29th September, tribute was paid to the former senator for the district of Ebebiyin and Second Secretary of the Senate continuity table, Herminio Edu Abeso Nkara.

Due to his work schedule, the Head of State and of the Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, was not able to attend, but the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, was present as his representative, and he expressed the pain caused by the loss of the senator.

Obama Asue, representing the Head of State, recognised the hard work carried out by the deceased during his political career, recognition which brought him one of the highest honorary distinctions of the State.

Amid pain and sorrow, the family and friends of Edu Abeso bid their final farewell to the senator, who passed away on Thursday 21st of this month in the village where he was born, Aton Nsomo.

The Ebebiyin PDGE monitoring commission, led by its president, Marcelino Asumu Nsue Okomo, expressed gratitude to everyone for being with them at this time of great pain.
