Prime Minister has audience with Macao Chief Executive

The Prime Minister of the Government, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, has held a meeting in the city of Macao with the Macao Chief Executive, Chui Sai On, who thanked him for his participation in the International Forum on Investment and Infrastructure Construction which was taking place in the city. This is the third time that our country has taken part in the event.

The Macao Chief Executive also underlined the good state of bilateral relations between Equatorial Guinea and China, and stressed that the annual forum in Macao was an excellent starting point for the inclusion of our country in the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

The Prime Minister, fro his part, after expressing thanks for the reception of the delegation, pointed out that, since 1968, the links of cooperation between China and Equatorial Guinea had always been beneficial for the two parties, and that today the links had developed into relations of friendship, even brotherhood, based on sincerity and mutual respect.

In addition, Obama Asue affirmed that Equatorial Guinea enjoyed the support of Chinese cooperation, and urged the private sector in the Asian country to cooperate in the development and implementation of infrastructure projects in our nation. He also highlighted the fact the private companies would find a climate which is favourable for setting up their businesses.
