Prime Minister Holds a Meeting to Address the Economic Recovery Agenda

With the aim to address matters related to the country’s economic recovery agenda, Prime Minister, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, held a meeting on 21st September to address information and planning with representatives of several ministerial departments.

Following the projection of the Horizon 2020 development plan in 2007, and due to the sudden global price drop of an oil barrel, the government saw a need to devise a strategy for the economic recovery of Equatorial Guinea.

The technical personnel in the Ministry of Economy plays an essential role in achieving the objectives of this project, whose aim is to raise the country’s economy.

This meeting, which lasted more than two hours, took place in Djibloho and was attended by the Minister of Health, Salomon Nguema Owono, and the Minister of Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Hermes Ela Mifumu.
