Prime Minister holds audience with Ombudsman

On Friday 22nd June, the Ombudsman, Marcelino Nguema Onguene, and the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, held a courtesy meeting in one of the annexes at the Palace of Conferences in Sipopo, where the Ombudsman’s Offices are provisionally located.

Obama Asue declared before TVGE that his visit to the body that defends the rights and interests of the citizen proscribed in Basic Law is in line with the duty of the Government to exchange views in order to strengthen the lies between the two institutions.

The meeting, which lasted for over one hour, was the first meeting that the Prime Minister has held with the Ombudsman since Obama Asue was appointed and assigned as Coordination of the Administration in the country, in February this year.
