The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, met at his office at the Presidency of the Government the United States Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Susan Stevenson.
After the presentation of her credentials before the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the United States Ambassador began her diplomatic agenda in Equatorial Guinea with this audience held on 7th May with Obama Asue.
As this was the first meeting between the two figures, it was an opportunity to review bilateral relations, together with the priorities in matters of cooperation for the strengthening of relations.
Obama Asue explained to Susan Stevenson the history of Equatorial Guinea since 1968 to the present, and recognised the key role of the United States in the socio-economic development of our country.
During the audience, the Prime Minister was accompanied by the Adviser to the Presidency of the Government, Charged with Legal Affairs.
