On Wednesday 31st May, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, during his stay in new York, met with ambassadors and political figures from countries in Eastern and Western Europe.
The Prime Minister’s audience with ambassadors took place at our country’s diplomatic headquarters in New York, with the aim of asking for votes for the candidacy of Equatorial Guinea for the position of non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
Obama Asue highlighted the role being played by African countries within the UN, and affirmed that, in Equatorial Guinea is elected, they will continue in the same way.
The Prime Minister also invited those present to visit Equatorial Guinea, a country which is small in size, but large in its aspirations. Following these words of gratitude and the request for support, the guests enjoyed lunch provided by the Equatoguinean Government.
