Minutes later the Minister was received in audience by the Prime Minister Julien Ncogue Bacale in his official office.
The reason for the meeting was to pass on to the Prime Minister a message from H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo for H. E. Ali Bongo Ondimba.
During the audience the two figures exchanged words of friendship and spoke about various matters relating to bilateral cooperation.
Oyono Esono in his declarations to the national press said that Gabon and Equatorial Guinea were brother neighbour countries members of the CEEAC and had coasts on the Gulf of Guinea an area scourged by maritime piracy.
For that reason we should work together to strengthen cooperation regarding maritime security and to prohibit illegal fishing added the Minister.
