The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the act of handing over office between the outgoing Minister for Finance, the Economy and Planning, Lucas Abaga Nchama, and his successor, Cesar Augusto Mba Abogo, which took place at midday on 15th April, at the Headquarters of the ministerial department in Malabo II.
Both the outgoing and incoming ministers, after the corresponding formalities, gave speeches in which they agreed on their gratitude to the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for the trust placed in them.
The Prime Minister gave some words of advice, indicating the lack of cooperation by officials with their superiors; a situation which affects the fluidity of administrative processes to a large extent.
Cesar Augusto Mba Abogo, before being appointed Minister for Finance, through Decree Number 32/2019, of 9th April, was Secretary of State, Charged with the Horizonte 2020 Programme.
