Prime Minister oversees meeting of Steering Committee for Autonomous Bodies

On the morning of Monday 4th November, in his capacity as president of the committee, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, led the first meeting of the Steering Committee for the Restructuring of Autonomous Bodies and Public Companies.

Following the session, which took place at the headquarters of the presidency, the Secretary of State Charged with Budgets and Financial Control, Nicolas Fernando Okiri, in conversation with the press, underlined that this first meeting was aimed at analysing the work carried out since its creation by the Presidency of the Republic through the Order of 5th October which dissolved the Boards of Autonomous Bodies and Public Companies.

Through this decision the Government is seeking mechanisms which will guarantee maximum economic and social performance of these bodies via their restructuring.
