Ninety-eight young Equatoguineans took part in a public examination organised by the Support Centre for the African Statistical Schools (CAPESA), which took place at the Bata Faculty of Medical Sciences.
The public examination is for the training of senior statistical engineers, and includes two options: maths and economics.
The grants for the examination are provided by CAPESA, in conjunction with the Ministry for the Economy, Planning and Public Investment, and the Equatorial Guinea National Institute for Statistics.
According to the head of the examining commission in the continental part of the country, those who pass will go to various countries, such as Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and Senegal.
