The National Statistics Institute (INEGE) published the Equatorial Guinea Statistical Yearbook 2018 on Tuesday 26th February, at an event at the Equatoguinean Cultural Centre, overseen by the Director General of INEGE, Ricardo Nsue Ndemesogo.
The event was also attended by the Secretary of State for Planning from the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, representing the minister, and general secretaries from ministerial departments and institutions.
The first to speak was the Director general of INEGE, who spoke about the methodology used in creating the yearbook. He was followed by the Secretary of State for Planning, with the presentation of the document.
Ricardo Nsue Ndemesogo said that the yearbook provided access to statistics from different areas of the socio-economic reality in Equatorial Guinea, and contains a summary of the statistical data organised in fifteen sections. It contains a wide variety of numerical data, and is the main source of information that speaks about the situation of a country.
The Director General of INEGE concluded by thanking all those who took part in the work of publishing the yearbook, and invited everyone to visit the INEGE
