Resolution for the installation of the ACP Information Centre

The Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, signed Resolution No. 3, of 4th April 2017, creating and constituting a Working Group for the installation of the ACP Information Centre for South-South and Triangular Cooperation. The entire contents are published below.

“Resolution No. 3, of 4th April 2017, creating and constituting a Working Group for the installation of the ACP Information Centre for South.South and Triangular Cooperation.

With the aim of creating an Equatoguinean Government programme to build and equip an Information Centre for the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) International Organisation on South.South and Triangular Cooperation, and in order to address a series of concerns that may arise, the creation of a Inter-sector Working Group is considered necessary for this purpose.

There was a proposal put forward by the Minister for Trade under entry number 121, of 2nd March 2017.

In virtue of this proposal, and in accordance with Article 23, subparagraph e) of Law number 2/2015, of 28th May, on the Judicial Regime of the General State Administration,

I order:

Article 1.- Through this Resolution, a Working Group is created, charged with implementing the installation in Malabo of the ACP Information Centre for South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

Article 2.- The Working Group referred to in the previous article will be made up as follows:

1.- President Coordinator: The Minister for Trade and National Authorising Officer from the European Development Fund (EDF).

2.- Co-Presidents:

-The Minister for Fishing and Water Resources.

– The Minister for Finance and Budgets.

– The Minister for the Economy, Planning and Public Investment.

3.- Members:

-Two (2) Technicians from the Ministry for Trade.

-One (1) Technician from the Ministry for Fishing and Water Resources.

-One (1) Technician from the Ministry for Finance and Budgets.

-One (1) Technician from the Ministry for the Economy, Planning and Public Investment.

-One (1) Technician from the Ministry for Public Works and Infrastructures.

-The President of the Technical Committee from GE-Proyectos.

-The Equatorial Guinea Ambassador in Brussels (Belgium).

Article 3.- The thus constituted Working Group will work continuously until the planned Triangular Office is operational.
