The Council of Ministers called for Wednesday 14th by the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, continued at around 12.00 noon on 15th November.
The members of the Government arrived early at the People’s Palace in Malabo, in order to be able to continue with the points they were not able to analyse on the first day.
Under the direction of the President of the Republic, the second session of the council began in the presence of the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue; the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue; the three Vice Prime Ministers, ministers of State, and other members of the executive.
On this second day, the council studied and analysed the draft decree creating the Committee for the Restructuring of Public Bodies, Companies and Autonomous Bodies; the conventions signed with Djibouti, Portugal and Russia – countries with which Equatorial Guinea has excellent diplomatic relations- , and the Convention for the National Gendarmerie of Equatorial Guinea joining the Organisation of African Gendarmeries, through the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Finance and National Security.
Another of the matters dealt with was the justification of the current account income for the months of July, August and September 2018, together with the reports covering the execution of the 2018 action plans, regarding the diversification of the national economy, for all departmental chiefs from the Equatoguinean Central State Administration.
