The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, led the second meeting of the Interministerial Council, in the city of Bata. The meeting took place on Thursday 8th August at the Ngolo Palace of Conferences.
The adoption of the agenda, and a reading and approval of the minutes from the previous session were the first points for the meeting, which was attended by the three Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, A�ngel Mesie Mibuy and Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, respectively.
The points presented were from the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, in relation to the General State Budgets.
Firstly, there was the Report on the Liquidation of the General State Budgets for the 2018 Economic Period, followed by the Report on the Execution of the current General State Budgets to 31st March 2019, and finally the presentation of a package of six provisions relating to the National Statistics System (SEN), which were debated, with the adoption of two of them. These were the Draft Law modifying law number 3/2001, of 17th May, regulating statistical activity in Equatorial Guinea, and the Draft Decree ratifying the African Statistics Charter.
The remaining points of the agenda will be covered at the next meeting.
