Members of the Government located in Malabo held on the morning of Wednesday 6th February an Interministerial Council meeting, the second of 2019.
The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, chaired the meeting, which took place in the meeting room at the Ministry for Finance. The meeting began with the approval of the minutes from the previous session.
After approving the agenda, the Second Vice Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with parliamentary relations and Legal Affairs, A�ngel Mesie Mibuy, presented various draft laws, including the Draft law against Corruption; the Draft Law against Gender Violence; the Draft Government Law; laws on the organisation and operation of the General State Administration and the Draft law on the Judicial Regime for the General State Administration and common Administrative Procedures.
With respect to the Draft Law against Corruption and the law against Gender Violence, inter sectoral commissions were created for adaptation within a period of five days. Obama Asue and his team also looked at the Draft Decree opening the Agricultural Campaign 2018-2019, presented by the Ministry for Agriculture, Livestock and Forests.
The document regarding the situation on human trafficking in Equatorial Guinea was the responsibility of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Department Charged with Human Rights. The document will be analysed at the next meeting.
In Interministerial Council meeting was attended by the three Vice Prime Ministers of the Government: Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, A�ngel Mesie Mibuy and Alfonso Nsue Mokuy.
