The meeting included participation from police executives and international experts, with the aim of more effective work which helps the citizens in conflict zones.

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea, a member State of the United Nations, and currently on the Security Council until 31st December 2019, took part in the meeting through a delegation led by the Secretary of State for national Security, Eduardo Minang Enzema Abeme, who in an interview granted to the media, ratified the commitment of his country to meet the joint obligations with other member States in matters regarding the protection of the population, on a national and international level.

The challenges to peace are changing in tone, and that is why the deputy director of peace-keeping operations has deemed it necessary to organise this meeting in order to look at the issues, and as a group look at what to do with respect to these new challenges”, said Minang Enzema.
