The President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono, held a meeting of the Bureau and the Senate House Committee on 26th July. The meeting served to adopt the work schedule of the second regular period of parliament sessions corresponding to the present year of 2018.
The work schedule includes the study of two bills: the General Transport Bill by land and the General Budgets of the State; a proposition of Regulatory Law of the Children Below the Age of Criminal Responsibility; a total of seven agreements and a protocol signed by the government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea with governments of ally countries, in addition to other proceedings.
The heads of some state-owned companies and state participation also appeared before the Senate to clarify doubts on the operation of these organisations, and to justify their annual budget are other points that made up the order of the day in the parliamentary sessions that will be underway shortly.
