The senior delegation from the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea in Ankara, led by the General Secretary, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, and the Turkish AKP, signed on 6th February a protocol of agreements including various satisfactory political aspirations in benefit of the two parties, in addition to a friendly strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
Cevdet Yilmaz, AKP president of International Relations, represented the governing political grouping in Turkey during the signing of the memorandum.
The second working meeting between the PDGE and the AKP, held at the headquarters of this political grouping in the city of Ankara, was described as fruitful, after agreements were reached on the postures covered in the preliminary analysis, on mutual, beneficial cooperation.
The two parties created this joint proposal, signing the agreement protocols which contain the basic principles towards the establishment of greater cooperation. The agreement features the training of groups of Equatoguineans at various Turkish universities, in addition to an exchange of experiences between the various structures in the two political groupings.
Following the mutual presentation of gifts, the PDGE General Secretary read a message of gratitude to the Turkish Justice and Development Party, for this productive meeting described as prosperous and hopeful of consolidating effective development action.
