On 14th March the delegation, led by the Minister for Social Affairs and Gender Equality, Maria Consuelo Nguema Oyana, arrived in the Moroccan city of Dakhlas, to attend the fifth consecutive forum to be held there.
The delegation was received by the organisers of the forum and local authorities from the district. The Minister Nguema Oyana was then interviewed by a national television channel from Morocco, in the international conference hall in Dakhlas.
Asked about the economy in the country, the Minister stressed that following the fall in the price of oil, the Government is working to diversify the economy in other fields, and to that end she mentioned the III National Economic Conference to be held in the near future.
The Minister was accompanied by the technical head from the ministry, Pedro Ondo Abeku.
