Although South Africa has gone through a number of challenges in the past few months, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says he is positive that 2017 will usher in a stable environment.
Addressing members of the South African team and media at the World Economic Forum Tuesday in Davos, Switzerland, he said that while the country would still have to deal will low growth rates caused by various factors, it had strong institutions which are able to withstand the challenges.
Strong institutions that have proved that are able to absorb the shocks, are able to keep our country stable. Many people thought that the wheels were coming off. The other strength that the country has is strong financial services infrastructure, he said.
