State visit by President of Republic to Yibuti

At around 15:00 on Saturday 21st April, the official delegation from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea arrived in the Republic of Yibuti to begin a State visit to the nation located on the Horn of Africa. The Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, was received at the Ambouli International Airport by his counterpart, H. E. Ismail Omar Guelleh, who had gone to the airport to welcome him personally.

During his arrival, the anthems of both nations were played, and there were military honours for the illustrious guest, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on this his first State visit, which is expected to finish on Monday 23rd April.

Then, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, shook the hand of the various members of the Government in the country, and also some members of the Equatoguinean delegation that had arrived some days earlier to coordinate the visit.

The meeting between H. E.. Ismail Omar Guelleh and H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, took place on Saturday in the VIP Hall of the airport, in order to exchange views on the State visit.

The Equatoguinean delegation, led by the President of the Republic, is made up of the Minister of State, Charged with Missions, Alejandro Evuna Owono, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simeon Oyono Esono, the Minister of State, Charged with External Security, Juan-Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, and the Vice-Minister, Charged with Translations, Armando Dougan, among other members.
