The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Bioko, Gregorio Boho Camo, received on Tuesday, March 10, in his office at the institution in Malabo, the Director General of Regional Development Pole of the Agricultural System in Central Africa (PRASAC), Namkosserena Salomon. In his meeting with Boho Camo, he said his presence in Equatorial Guinea aims to support the development of agriculture.
The PRASAC is an entity that deals with the search for mechanisms for the development of agriculture in Central Africa. Besides farming, it is also dedicated to livestock production and environmental protection. In collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture and Environment, its mission is to work to strengthen the agricultural system in the subregion.
After the audience in the Chamber of Commerce, Namkosserena Salomon stated that his presence in Equatorial Guinea aims to support the development of agriculture. This agency, based in N’Djamena (Chad) started operating as a project in Cameroon, Chad and Central African Republic. After the results obtained, the Commission of the CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) decided to adopt it as a specialized institution in 2008.
