Swearing in ceremony before Head of State for members of Government and ambassadors

On 12th February a further swearing in ceremony before the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, took place at the People’s Palace in Malabo. Two members of the Government appointed on 17th though Decree number 17/2018 were sworn in: Bonifacio Mitogo Edjang, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Missions, and Juan Abaha Elo,Secretary of State to the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Audits.

In addition to these two ministers, three new Republic of Equatorial Guinea ambassadors to various African countries were also sworn in: Bernardino Mba Ondo, Bienvenido Esono Engonga Okomo and Jose Jaime Ondo Ndong Bakale.

They were all sworn in at a ceremony which was also attended by the General Secretary of he PDGE, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro; leaders of constitutional bodies, such as Teresa Efua Asangono, President of the Senate; Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu, President of the Chamber of Deputies, and Juan Carlos Ondo Angue, head of the Supreme Court of Justice. The Prime Minister, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, was also present, along with the three Vice Prime Ministers and other members of the Government.

The Head of State invited them all to demonstrate their capacities before the People of Equatorial Guinea, as for that reason the people once again voted for the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea in the recent legislative and municipal elections.
