Swearing in of offices before the President of the Republic

H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo presided at the People’s Palace of Malabo over the swearing in of office of the newly appointed personalities both in the Judicial Power and in the Equatorial Guinean Petroleum Company (GEPetrol). On the evening of May 28, the Head of State undertook a trip to Abuja (Nigeria), to attend the inauguration of the new president of this country.

The personalities who were sworn in, Juan Carlos Ondo Angue, new President of the Supreme Court; David Nguema Obiang Eyang, who maintains his responsibility as Attorney General of the Republic; Antonio Oburu Ondo, new Director General of Equatorial Guinea Petroleum Company (GEPetrol), Vicente Abeso Mbuy, Deputy Director General, and Gabriel Mbaga Nchama, Second Deputy Director General of the same national oil company.

In the afternoon, the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo was seen off at the International Airport of Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, by personalities who embody the legal and institutional part of the country. The purpose of his trip is to attend in the city of Abuja (Nigeria) the solemn inauguration and handover of the newly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, an act that took place on May 29 in the West African country.
