The Senate Table, overseen by Teresa Efua Asangono, met on Thursday 13th September in Sipopo with the directors of the institution, to set out the working directives aimed at the successful operation of the Upper Chamber of Parliament.
As a young institution with only five years behind it, the body needs innovation which responds to demands, and in that way work with the Government to implement the socio-economic policies, redirecting the functions of the Senate in accordance with current needs.
Along those lines, the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono, assisted by the first and second Vice-Presidents, A�ngel Serafin Seriche Dougan Malabo and Augustin Nze Nfumu, gave instructions on the procedures for the recruitment of staff, which will be done based on the vacancies available, and asked for rigour and firmness in the execution of their work in order to reanimate services.
Furthermore, the Director General for Economic Affairs, Perla Divina Owono Efua, presented a report which set out the need for more qualified staff.
