Thanksgiving mass in Congo Brazzaville to mark birthday of H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo

The Equatorial Guinea diplomatic mission in Congo Brazzaville organised a thanksgiving and petition for gifts mass in honour of the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. The Eucharistic celebration took place at the residence of the Apostolic Nuncio for Congo Brazzaville and Gabon, Francisco Escalante Molina.

During the homily, the celebrant priest highlighted the virtues of men who are loved and considered as representatives, and pointed out the importance of the birthday of a person during his entire life.

Before the final blessing, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville, Samuel Ateba Owono Iyanga, expressed his gratitude to those present, in particular to the Ambassadors from Rwanda and Namibia, for their honoured presence at the celebration.

Following the mass, the Equatoguinean colony shared a table where it was possible to try various dishes prepared by the diplomatic mission, who congratulated the Head of State and Government on his birthday, and wished him many more.
