Thanksgiving mass to mark opening of II Ordinary Session of Parliament on International Day of the African Woman

On Wednesday 31st July, the Bishop of Bata, Monsignor Juan Matogo Oyana, said a thanksgiving mass to mark the start of the second ordinary session of the National Parliament, and for the International Day of the African Woman, on 31st July.

The Eucharistic celebration was attended by the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Constancia Mangue de Obiang, among other figures.

During the homily, the celebrant said that God created us in his image and similarity, and entrusted us with the mission of passing on prosperity, transforming the world and making it grow.
