On 23rd March on Micomeseng, the State Tour which has taken the presidential couple and their entourage through the entire nation since its start on 7th February, in Baney, came to a close. This was the first tour by the President of the Republic, since his re-election as Head of State in the presidential elections of April 2016. In total, 54 provincial capitals, municipalities and new urban districts were visited.
In all the places visited, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo gave speeches underlining peace as an element that “we must all defend”, taking into account that “it has allowed the development we are now enjoying”.
The tour of the continental part of Rio Muni began on 27th February, with visits to the district of Kogo and its corresponding urban districts of Mebome Elon and MbaAe.
Two days later, the Head of State and his entourage arrived at the district of Mbini, where he laid the first stones for various projects in the urban districts of Bogo, Akanabor and Jandje.
In the district of Bata, where the presidential couple stayed on 3rd and 4th March, H. E. Obiang Ngema Mbasogo laid the first stones in the urban districts of Ndjiacom, Miboman and Mitom.
From 5th to 6th March, the Head of State was in the district of Niefang, where he also attended ceremonies to lay the first stones in the urban districts of Miyobo, Ayene and Andom, and officially opened various projects carried out in the same district.
In Evinayong, capital of the Centro Sur province, the President also attended various official openings for projects, and laid the first stones in the urban districts of Ebolowa, Adjelon and Mision San Jose.
In Akurenam, belonging to the Centro Sur province, the first stones for the urban districts of Ayem Concentrado, AAueA Concentrado and Akelayong-mbam were laid.
In Akonibe, in the Wele-Nzas province, the President went to the urban districts of Mefub, Bisobinam and Kukumankok, to lay the respective first stones for the new work.
In Nsork, also in Wele-Nzas, the presidential couple and their entourage visited the urban districts of Abumeyeme, Dumu and Avom Concretado.
In the district of Mongomo, the capital of Wele-Nzas, the first stones for the urban districts of Ebang Concentrado, Oveng Concentrado and Mebama Concentrado were laid.
In AAisok, the last stop in Wele-Nzas, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo laid the first stones in the urban districts of Milong Limite, Birara, Evordulu and Mebere.
In the district of Nsok-Nsomo, the laying of the first stones took place in the urban districts of Andom-Ovang, Mendumay and Abiere-Esatop.
Finally, in Ebebiyin, the provincial capital of Kie-Ntem, where the presidential couple stayed on 21st and 22nd March, the Head of State visited the urban districts of Okong-Oyec, Ongomo-Eseng y Etegue-VeiA, to lay the respective first stones for the work that is to be carried out.
