Mari-Cruz Evuna Andeme was named on May 22 an honorary member of the Group of Latin American Ambassadors in Britain (GRULA). The event took place during a working lunch that gathers monthly all legates in the British capital.
By giving that title to Mari-Cruz Evuna Andeme, ambassadors from Latin America expressed the importance they attach to diplomatic functions in Equatorial Guinea in the diplomatic milieu in London, essential to the interests of GRULA and of Hispanic heritage towards a greater South-South cooperation.
The Ambassador’s participation in this working meeting coincided with the presentation of two other diplomatic personalities in London: first, the Executive Director of the International Sugar Organization, Jose Orive Vides and, secondly, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of London, Professor Joseph Mifsud. The GRULA holds debates and discussions on global issues, other than those that directly affect their countries and regions of origin.
The Ambassador Evuna Andeme said that these meetings reflect the wishes and the policy guidelines of the Government of Equatorial Guinea, which calls for a real approach to the countries of Latin America.
