The Bishop of Malabo chairs the festivity of Pentecost

The events began on Sunday, May 24, at the Holy Cathedral of Malabo, presided over by the bishop of the capital, Juan Nsue Edjang, who was accompanied by several priests and members of the Christian community.

Pentecost is celebrated the fifty days after Easter, thereby ending the Easter season. On Sunday, May 24, several young Catholic communities of Malabo received the sacrament of confirmation in the Cathedral.

During the liturgy, over two hundred people accompanied the confirmed in their entrance to adulthood within the Catholic Church.
