African ambassadors and delegates meet these days in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, which has installed a large screen to follow the matches. The Equatorial Guinean embassies have also become, during the CAN 2015, small centers of international football.
Passion for football dissolves boundaries and even unites fans from different teams while they are away from their land. This is what is happening these days in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to the United Nations in New York, where a huge screen has been installed to watch the games.
Thanks to this installation in the so-called Hall of Delegates, representatives of the United Nations, especially Africans, gather to watch the matches of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2015); albeit sharing many nerves.
The Equatorial Guinean embassies also have become during these days improvised small stadiums, where the Equatorial Guinean community and that of other countries live the excitement of continental football.
