The First Lady Awarded by an International Organisation

The award given to Constancia Mangue de Obiang took place on Wednesday, 20th September in the city of New York. The International Committee for the Promotion of Peace presented the wife of S.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo with a certificate of achievement for her various contributions to the development of key sectors such as education and health, in addition to other countless donations made to the most needy social layers in our country and abroad.

The international organizations continue to acknowledge relief efforts carried out by the First Lady on a national and internation level, as shown once again in the U.S. during the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations.

The International Committee for the Promotion of Peace was founded by the ex Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, with the aim to promote solidarity on a global scale, awarding major public figures from all over the globe who set out to improve the lives of others.

In addition to Constancia Mangue de Obiang, who was awarded this time, other authorities also deserved this award. Doctor Justino Obama received this award on behalf of the First Lady.
