The First Vice President meets with the President of Egypt

The Vice President of the Republic for Presidential Affairs, Ignacio Milam Tang, returned on Sunday, March 15, to Malabo, after meeting with the Egyptian President, H.E. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and representing the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in the Conference on Consolidation and Development of the Egyptian Economy.

Ignacio Milam Tang was received at the Malabo International Airport by the Prime Minister for Administrative Coordination, Vicente Ehate Tomi; the Second Deputy Prime Minister for the Social Sector and Minister of Education and Science, Lucas Nguema Esono Mbang, several Government members, provincial authorities of Bioko Norte and the City Hall of the capital.

On Sunday, March 15, Ignacio Milam Tang met with the Egyptian President, H.E. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, to whom he delivered the message from the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in which the Equatorial Guinean Executive reaffirmed the conviction of further strengthening its ties of friendship and cooperation with Egypt.

The audience also was an opportunity to convey the congratulations of the Head of State of Equatorial Guinea to his counterpart for the successful organization of the conference, and to predict the success for the purpose intended.

The meeting was attended by the Equatorial Guinean Minister of Economy, Planning and Public Investment, Conrado Okenve Ndoho, and the Ambassador of our country accredited in Cairo, Eustaquio Esono Nseng.
