The President of the Republic, S. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held three meetings with several public figures from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
First of all, the president received the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperatio, Yussuf Al Huseimin, who headed the delegation of their institution. Positive opinions were expressed regarding the activities that the Government has implemented in relation to the Arab world.
In the meeting with the Transport Minister, Suleiman Al Handani, the nation’s head of state was presented with projections from their department, in order to collaborate with our country.
Immediately after the meeting, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture entered the Head of State’s office. The Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Saudi Arabia are two nations with large fishing and agricultural potentials, which is why this meeting was an opportunity to analyse the way to channel a mutual collaboration. The Equatorial Guinean Minister for Fishing and Water Resources, Estanislao Don Malavo, and the Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Food, Victor Grange Meile were both present in this meeting.
