The Head of State reports that everything is prepared for the CAN Equatorial Guinea 2015

H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, accompanied by the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, met on the morning of January 12 at the Ngolo Conference Center in Bata, with the main authorities of the country in an event that had as its main theme the celebration of the African Cup of Nations CAN 2015.

With five days until the start of the main Pan-African football competition, the CAN 2015, the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held a meeting with the heads of the official institutions of the country in order to tell them that everything is ready for this great continental event.

H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo reported that the stadiums are ready, in which the matches will be played, and the airports are ready to receive the national and expatriate players who will participate in this event. He also reported that all necessary preventive measures have been taken to avoid a possible case of Ebola.

The Head of State invited all Equatorial Guineans to go to the stadiums of Ebebiyin, Mongomo, Bata and Malabo, and cheer on the teams during this national festivity.

As reported, the prices are really popular and the matches of this CAN 2015 may be seen from 500 CFA francs (less than €1) in Ebebiyin and Mongomo, and 1,000 CFA francs in Malabo and Bata.

-“We must give a solemn character to this event of the CAN; the tickets must be purchased to fill the stadiums. Those that have resources should help those that do not have them. I will purchase 40,000 tickets myself, 10,000 per region (of the four venues). The tickets cost 500 CFA francs (75 cents of a Euro); which gives 20 million CFA francs (30,000 Euros)”, declared H:E: Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
