The President and the First Lady in the Mass for the patron saint of Equatorial Guinea

The Christian community of the whole country celebrated on Friday, December 8, its patronal feast, the Immaculate Conception, and for this reason, the Presidential Couple, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo , together with the First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, attended the solemn Mass held at the Cathedral Basilica of Mongomo.

The religious ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Juan Domingo Beka, bishop of this diocese assisted by the bishops of Ebebiyin, and other prelates from Cameroon and Gabon, along with some thirty priests from all over the country.

Diverse personalities have accompanied the Presidential Couple in the Mass, among them, the Prime Minister, Administration Coordinator, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue and Mrs.; several members of the Government, as well as provincial, district and local authorities of Mongomo.
