On 8th May, the Vice-President of the Republic, Head of National Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, closed the basic military training course in the Military Training Centre of Musola.
Around 290 Equatorial Guineans received their certificates after completing their training in the Military Training Centre of Musola. The graduates also pledged allegiance to the national flag.
The director of the centre gave information on the modules undertaken during the course by means of practical classes and lectures, and specifically the basic military training plan.
On behalf of S.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the Vice-President of the Republic expressed his appreciation to the trainers at the centre: With these words of appreciation, I want to encourage you in order for you all to keep progressing in the military field to achieve talents which are able to defend the high symbols and values of our dear homeland – Equatorial Guinea. To serve the homeland is a noble task; the best soldier is recognised in the degree of compliance for the services to which he is commended; in the behaviour with his fellow soldiers and superiors, and in the behaviour with civil society and the proper use of the corresponding uniform and the organisation to which it belongs”.
