The managing directors of the company TOTAL in Africa are in Equatorial Guinea from 24th to 26th January, to take part in an Seminar on Business Hierarchy, provided by the parent company. The meeting, which is taking place in the Hotel Sofitel Le Golf in Malabo, was opened by the Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima.
During the three days that the work of the seminar will last, in which more than one hundred and thirty managers from TOTAL on the African continent will take part, among them the one from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Michael Faulkner, they will mainly cover questions related to the work carried out and that which should be carried out by a general manager with his subordinates during a working day, together with the products that the company is selling, and its global leadership, in general.
The minister Obiang Lima, in his declarations to the media, underlined the fact that it was a good option to chose the Republic of Equatorial Guinea as the setting for this important meeting, as it is a seminar provided by the parent company with their headquarters in Paris for its representatives on the African continent.
It is an honour for us to open these working sessions, as for the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the African continent it is very important. For that reason, I have dedicated some words of encouragement to these executives, so that they may be successful during their periods in management and may enjoy our country during their stay”.
The Minister for Mines also stressed that “currently our country is ready to host important summits and meetings, and that is why we are inviting the shareholders and economic players, in addition to the Equatoguinean people in general, to make Equatorial Guinea even more an emerging country”.
