The Events Coordination Committee for Energy year 2019 met for the fifth time, in order to cover the ten essential points on the agenda for the meeting. The meeting was led by the president of the committee, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, and took place on Wednesday 29th August.
At the headquarters of the Ministry for Mines and Hydrocarbons, in Malabo II, and with the participation of companies such as SONAGAS and GEPETROL, the president of the committee and Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, Mbega Obiang, met members of the commission in order to cover the questions on the agenda, which was read out by the general coordinator, Soledad Edjang Masoko.
Among the questions looked at were the reading of the minutes from the IV meeting; the reading of the record of the IV meeting; the presentation of letters for the VII African Petroleum Conference (CAPE); the Equatorial Guinea Gas Summit, in October 2018, organised by the National Gas Society (SONAGAS); and the procedure and programme of the press conference for the Energy Year 2019 project, among others.
The president of the committee pointed out the importance given to the celebration of this momentous event, Taking into account the importance of these events, we have launched, in Malabo , in 29th August, the press conference that marks the start of the work on this ambitious project for 2019. During this period there will be further conferences, although not indicated within the project plan”.
