On Wednesday 7th March, the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with National Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, held a meeting at the People’s Palace in Malabo, with the Egyptian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Hattem Hassouba, with the aim of examining matters regarding cooperation between the two countries.
We covered various matters from the programme of cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2010. Since that date, we have been cooperating in various sectors: culture, agriculture and health. Currently, we are facing a phase of improvements in all areas, and also strengthening common projects for mutual benefit”, declared Hattem Hassouba before the press, following the audience with the Vice-President of the Republic.
Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, for his part, is convinced that the matters covered will provide positive results, taking into account the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between Equatorial Guinea and Egypt.
During the meeting, the Vice-President of the Republic was accompanied by the Minister for National Defence and the Secretary of State from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
